Competitors: Open to all competitors. Iowa residents must be members of Iowa State Rifle & Pistol Association. Be prepared to show membership cards. Application for the Iowa State Rifle & Pistol Association will be available. Jr’s may be members of ISR&P affiliated club.
Classification: NRA classification system will be used. Competitors will be combined upwards to achieve 3 in class. Unclassified shooters will shoot in their own class. Juniors will shoot in Junior, Intermediate Junior, and Sub-Junior categories. NRA rules will apply.
Rifle: Rule 3.2 any rifle.
Sights: Rule 3.7 any sights.
Target: A 23/5 at 50 yards.
Course of Fire
Match #1 – 20 shots prone Match #2 – 20 shots standing
Match #3 – 20 shots sitting Match #4 – 20 shots kneeling
Match #5 – Aggregate
Shooters will complete entire match before leaving firing line. Awards will be given in Match #5 only.
Entries: Limited to 16 shooters.
Entry Fee: Adults - $20.00, Juniors - $10.00 includes registration fees.
Challenge fee: $1.00
Awards: 1ST resident in class will receive special state association awards. Competitors will only receive one state association award per state match.
Conditions: Competitors will hang and retrieve targets, sponsors will score. Competitors will furnish own eye and hearing protection, steel clips for targets.
Facilities: 16 firing points,. Restrooms
